WHAT IS MODEL INQUIRY
- Learning process through questions generated from the interests, curiosities, and experiences of the learner.
TECHNIQUES OF INQUIRY
1) Guided inquiry
- Requires teachers to guide students to carry out all the
studies.
- Suitable for implementation at the primary and secondary
school.
2) Open inquiry
- Students are not given any guidance. All the studies carried
out by students themselves.
LEARNING SEQUENCES
Phase 1: Teacher creates a problematic situation and building a
knowledge base to prepare for inquiry.
Phase 2: Engage students to gather all info about the question from
her/his experiences.
Phase 3: Student conducts the investigation/experiment to see if the
incident occurred in another way.
Phase 4: Students need to compile the data to form explanation.
Phase 5: Students are asked to analyze the pattern of their inquiry. They
require effective and productive questions, and also need more information from
the teacher.
BENEFITS OF INQUIRY MODEL
- Self instruction: Improve critical thinking skill.
- Student-centered: students actively involved in learning,
encourage curiosity of students to think and imagine the answers. This
curiosity will lead to further inquiry.
- Less need to find correct answers because any conclusions are
tentative and rely on data given.

Well done. This is nice. But I hope the other teams will try to outdo yours. Keep this up.
This method is very suitable for students since curiosity is a nature of them..
if inquiry technique is used, means students utilize their cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills in order to resolve the problem given. the became more kinesthetic and 2 ways learning was occurred between teacher and students..unexpectedly, a teacher might realize students' potential and ability
In student level, they have a higher curiosity level. this method is good to be practice.
